I have to admit I'm not usually a fan of Sandra, but saw all the reviews and decided to give it a try. I altered the skewers to include cherry tomatoes and poblano instead of red peppers (1/2 the $$. The sauce was a bit too vinegar-y to use as dipping sauce, but was relish on the kabobs. Served it with "hot and cold sesame noodles" also FN and it was a big hit! Will definitely make again!

I'm sorry, but this was disgusting!!! I made several, several modifications in order to make it palatable. My modifications made this a 5-star recipe, but do not make this as written.

Made this last night for dinner and it was delicious. I'll cut back on the vinegar next time or add more brown sugar. I think it would be yummy to add onions to the skewers next time. Will definitely make again.

I would give this recipe 10 STARS if I could. The sweet and sour sauce is better than any I have had, I only had 1/3 cup of vinegar and it still came out perfectly sweet and sour. This will be my sweet and sour sauce from now on. No more store bought for me and so easy to make. I served with garlic infused rice placed the super yummy kabobs on top and drizzled with the sauce. Everyone was in Hawaiian heaven!!! We passed around the sauce. This dish is so good. My only change was adding onions to the kabobs. As many others have stated 'ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS'!!!!!

These kabobs were KaBOOM! Only one slight change, a pinch of red pepper flake in the sauce. Absolutely delicious!!

tastes reallly good, I didn't change anything in the recipe or add anything.
but the smell from the vinegar is a little unpleasant.

I made this for dinner the other night and I still keep thinking of how good it was. I didn't reserve any of the sauce for dipping, I smothered the skewers instead. It turned out incredible. The peppers had a delightful flavor with the sauce and pineapple. I tried the sauce seperate and didn't think it would taste that great but once it is on the skewers it was amazing. I will definitely make this again and maybe make a double batch of the sauce to try having some to dip. Delicious!

Made these last night and it was a huge success with the husband and child!! I brushed the sauce over the almost finished grilled skewers and kept them brushed every few minutes until done. While waiting for my grilled zucchini to finish I kept the skewers warm under foil and before serving I brushed the sauce on one more time. These were delicious and I plan to use the sauce on other asian inspired dishes.
