Loved it! My Family loved it. So much easier than I imagined. Great for a quick dessert and a definite crowd pleaser. The second time I made it I did add a bit of vanilla and though I loved it I felt disloyal. I try to remain true to a recipe, but I was just fooling around and VOILA! A definite five star!

Very good recipe. It was easy to put together, and the 4 hours waiting for the dough to rise just made me want to try them even more!
They out very light and fluffy and tasted very good. They weren't as sweet as i expected, they were almost like bread instead of the sweet dessert i was expecting. I may add more sugar to the dough next time.
Also, when you put them in the oven to keep them warm, remember to take them out after only a few minutes. A nice, golden brown beignet that sits in the oven, even at a measly 250 degrees, come out a lot more brown after a while.
Overall, great recipe, and i will be making these again.

Superb and talk about easy. The hardest part was waiting the four hours for the dough to set up and rise.

OH WOW! Did I love these? Well, as a matter of fact, I did. I am not a great cook but was so proud when I pulled these out of the oil, sugared them and everyone started grabbing them. My daughter & hubby were down from OU and they were impressed. We all ate till we were almost sick. They headed back to OU & she asked me to pack some up for her trip. I did. After they left I had to have one more.I don't know what happened, my lil clouds were so dense, they were laughable, as my daughter did when she called to tease me about it. WHAT DID I DO? or is this a normal thing to happen? Can anyone enlighten me? I have never had them before but will make again for sure. Thanks Tyler!!!

My father made this recipe today and I have to tell you...they were deeeelicious! They taste like a cross between a doughnut and a sopapilla. Soft, pillowy and very filling! I prefer these with honey. GREAT recipe Tyler!

Do not change a thing. Do as the recipe says so and you will have the perfect beignets. What's wrong? All of the other recipes can be save in my recipe box except this one, please do something! Thanks.
