This is my kids favorite salad dressing. I think we now dip it on just about everything. It has become a staple in my fridge!

Great salad. One question on the recipe: Ingredients calls for a thinly sliced red onion, but the recipe directions don't tell you what to do with it. I assume it's just to be tossed with the greens. Or am I missing it?

Not sure about the salad part of this but I used the dressing to go with a grilled roasted garlic shrimp skewer recipe (semi-homemade recipe and it was fantastic!! Thank you Bobby!!

Just a heads up that on the show he used a combo of canola oil and EVOO. The web version doesn't show the canola, it was about a 50/50 split.

We love this dressing and use it on spring mix green, as well as iceberg. I just finished preparing a new batch. Roast extra garlic, spread on crackers and serve wiwth the salad.

First for the review: We really liked this dressing. I want to eat dressings that don't have a ton of sugar and preservatives. Homemade is the way to go and this was perfect. This had a great roasted garlic flavor and a really nice consistency. I used a "mild and creamy Dijon mustard." I served it over romaine leaves and Parmesan-crusted chicken breasts. I'm not a fan of frisee. I agree with Deb. Please Google frisee if you don't know what it is. You'll get an instantaneous response! When you don't try a recipe and give it a low rating, you bring the total rating down! Is that fair to the chef or those people who really look at ratings and want reviews?

I was surprised to see Glenn's one star rating as this is a flavorful dressing. I wish one could ask a question without having to skew the rating, which is something many people have said, but for some reason the Food Network does not make this change.
Anyway-frisee is a type of lettuce which is beginning to make it's way into supermarkets. It looks like a"frizzy" lettuce. GOOGLE frisee and you will learn about it (probably more than you want to know!. I hope you also like the salad.
