This is an excellent side dish. All in one. Don't just dump the milk in all at once, it was more than I needed and so my dish was a little runny, but the flavor was wonderful

I used red Potatoes instead of yukon because thats what I had laying around. Then I of course didnt have the sharp chedder so I used smoked Provolone and I added 2 garlic cloves it was so delicious.Try it the way I made it and u will never go back to plain mashed potatoes ever again but thanks rachel ray for the idea.It was great,I will make this often I give it 5 stars.

I see that this recipe got rave reviews, but mine wasn't so great the first time and pretty much intolerable as leftovers. It seemed like a great idea, but it didn't taste like anything. I used russets because that's what I had.

It was quick, easy, and delicious! I used 3/4 cup sour cream and 1/2 milk instead of 1 cup milk and it made it that much more flavorful! Great recipe!!!

These are good and I'll make them again. Easy to make and quick. They would be a good side to a variety of meats. I think this is a good use of broccoli. This has comfort food appeal due to the creamy cheesy texture. I think with some tweaking this could become even better. For example for a special occasion I would use cream instead of milk, I would add garlic for a more interesting less bland flavor and make sure I use plenty of salt it really brings out the flavors

I love this recipe! Easy to follow and did not take long to complete. It was delicious. At my local grocery store they did not have small yukon potatoes instead I used some small potatoes I found, still tasted yummy.
