I have cooked this meal for a lot of my friends and family and they absolutely love it. I disagree that the meal is too lemony--though I love the tartness of flavor. I usually have to add a little corn starch or flour to the sauce to thicken it a little. Have not had one complaint about it yet!

I made this recipe tonight for my family. The preparation of cooking the chicken was great but the sauce was a no winner. The sauce had way too much lemon in it. It called for three lemons I used two and still to lemony. I would suggest only using one lemon for this recipe or use a different sauce all together.

I can't get enough of this! Simple, quick and so flavorful! I used boneless pork chops that I pounded thin and they were terrific also. It is a WOW in my house. I pass it on to everyone I know that cooks daily looking for a new recipe for chicken.

I used the juice of 1 1/2 lemons in the sauce for the chicken and the juice of 1/2 lemon for the spinach bed. Why to much lemon. I don't think I will make again. If I do, it will be the juice of one lemon for the sauce and no lemon in the spinach bed. This was a big disappointment.

The sauce was a bit lemony but the recipe can be easily adjusted...my husband completely loved it and the best part of all was that its real easy to make =

Wow! With such simple ingredients, I was surprised how flavorful this dish was! Just made it tonight for friend's anniversary dinner. Must try! Served with honey roasted red potatoes and her Cafe Green Salad. After reading other reviews, I only used juice from 1 lemon but will try 1.5 lemon next time.

This recipe was simple to prepare and fairly good. After reading the recipe, I cut down on the lemon. Melissa seems to have a thing for overly lemony flavors (have you tried the lemony shrimp scampi?.
It was a decent dish, but a bit boring. It needed something else, though I'm not sure what.

This is a great recipe. I did a few things differently. I didnt have lemons so I added fresh squeezed oranges to the sauce instead, and it was very light and delicous. We love garlic at our house so I added 2 garlic cloves grated to the onions and sauted them with dried tyme(didn't have fresh. The chicken turned out very moist and juicy.
