OMG!!! The best salmon cakes I ever ate. This recipe is easy, tasty and it also fits my grocery budget very well. Canned salmon will be a staple in my house and this rccipe is a keeper.

These are delicious. Saw this episode when it aired. The can of salmon was DRAINED and yet that step is missing from the instructions. That is probably why it turned out so wet for people, although refrigerating for a time is a good idea anyway!

Followed the recipe exactly, except we used diced fresh salmon, and there was no "cake". The thing completely fell apart and we ended up cooking it like a stir-fry. The taste was pretty good, but I won't make this recipe again, and wouldn't recommend it. No binding agent=cakes fell apart into bits.

Everyone loved these cakes!!! Great and very inexpensive. Used Panko Bread Crumbs, gave an AMAZING crust!

These are sooo good! I usually avoid frying but I used light mayo and a little less than suggested and olive oil for the frying (also probably a little less than suggested. I plugged this into my fitnesspal and was happy to see that it was only about 350 calories for two salmon cakes. Will be adding this to my regular rotation!

My family really liked this recipe--less of a strong salmon flavor which made teens like it more than straight salmon. I substituted frozen salmon since I had on hand -- just baked in foil. And since I'm watching my fats, I pan fried first just in olive oil cooking spray, then finished off in the oven after spraying other side also. Turned out great with nice outer crunch.

This was on one of the early shows, I had salmon cakes as a kid loved them then and love them even more now. Such a great taste. I love the mustard and flaky potato with the zest of lemon!
