These meatballs came out soo delicious!
I saw it on her show & were a little unsure of how it would turn out, but it was amazing.
My boyfriend loved it.
I served it with a side of kale & used whole wheat couscous - super healthy but still flavorful!

These were amazing, I am not the greatest cook and my family loved these, I doubled the recipe to make more and followed the recipe exactly how it is described, I even made all the side dishes that she made on the show with these. I will definitely be making these again.

I thought the flavors were excellent. The only thing I did was add some chopped fresh mint to the meatballs and a little more cinnamon to the sauce -- a little more authentic. The only real problem with the dish for me was that when I put the meatballs into the sauce and stirred to cover them, they mostly fell apart. Do I need more egg or oats?

This was pretty good, but not spectacular. I liked the flavours in the meatballs more than the sauce. I made as directed. I think it was the lemon that didn't work well for me. I know it is common in a lot of Moroccan dishes, but it just didn't click with this dish. I will probably make the meatballs again, but not the dish as a whole.

Well, maybe it's my favorite. I really love a lot of her recipes. I always double the recipe. I also bake the meatballs, mostly because I'm ready to sit down for a few minutes. It freezes very well, and if I take this much time on something I want it more than once. I have taken this recipe to many "bring a dish" events and I always get asked about it. Melissa has quickly become my favorite....we need more new shows from her!

Very flavorful recipe and preparation was easy. I prepared my meatballs and cooked in the oven instead of frying, before adding to the sauce. I used panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs. My family loved it. We stuffed into whole wheat pitas, and topped with feta, chopped jalapeno and arugrula.

Sooo delicious! It takes a bit of time to prepare, but it's worth it! So much flavor! The only change I made was with the couscous - I served the dates on the side because I have a bit of a sweet tooth and didn't want to overpower the meal for my husband.

I made this entire menu for dinner and my family loved all of it! It was nice to have some so different from what we usually eat, and it was so easy and inexpensive to make! I will be making these again soon!
