This was the BEST tzatziki I've ever tasted! I served it at a party I hosted and everyone loved it and couldn't get enough of it. It was a huge hit. I've been to Greece and this was better than any tzatziki I had while there. I will definitely make this again! I followed the advice below and only used 1 tsp of salt instead of 2 and it was the perfect amount.

Decent, not authentic. Also, as others have stated, way too salty.

Way too much salt. I used a couple of squirts of lemon juice out of a bottle, used garlic powder vs fresh and just a couple of dashes of rice vinegar b/c that's what I had. Was very good BUT the salt content is too much - I had to add more yogurt to get it to taste right.

Overall good. I took the advice of others and used less salt, one teaspoon, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. There was a bit too much acid for me, so I'll use less lemon juice next time. I opted to buy pita chips vs. making them myself. Will make again!

This tzatziki sauce is by far some of the best I have made. It is far too salty though with 2 teaspoons of salt. I added more sour cream after finding out it was too salty and it came out perfectly. Next time I will add less salt. This is a definite keeper!

Great recipe! It was easy to make and came out great the first time. I would recommend using a food procesor to shred the cucumber if you have one. It will save some time.

Great as a dip with scoop chips, pita crisps too much work to make without burning.

I just came back from vacation in Greece and tried this recipe. This is very good. Yummy and tasty. Everyone who tries this when I make it says it is very good and they want the recipe. This recipe is a keeper. Thank you Ina for another great go to recipe.

Amazing! I used drained low fat kefir instead of the greek yogurt (it is hard to find it in my city. The flavor is adictive. I doubled the amount of sour cream though since the kefir is very "liquidy". besides that I did not change the recipe at all. Thanks Ida!
