I think the amount of salt in the recipe was WAY to much. i like to follow the recipe the 1st time i make the dish. i think i should have gone without the full amount of salt it asked for. i will make it again though!

This is absolutely delicious! I made the tzatziki with less salt, no sour cream, and flat-leaf parsley instead of dill and it still came out fantastic! If you're looking for an easy yummy recipe, look no further!

I love this recipe! I agree to omit the sour cream. The greek restaurant down the street puts a little bit of parmasean cheese on top of the pita chips, I also like to put a litle bit of feta on top just to give them more flavor! Thank you Ina

This was so much better than any tzatziki dip you could buy at the store! I agree with the other reviews on the salt, 1 tsp was plenty. This could not have been easier and it a refreshing change from ranch and onion dips so often served at parties!

We moved away from the little Greek place in LA a few years ago and I've been searching for a great tzatziki recipe. This is the bomb!
It's the real deal if you follow the recipe but omit the sour cream. Sorry, Ina. The first batch I made I followed the recipe religiously tasting as I went. It turned out to be so good I hoarded it.
Yesterday I made another batch without the sour cream and other than adjusting the salt/pepper today and adding just a hit of fresh lemon zest it was better than the first batch. My wife says I need to share this time with our dinner guests.
Either way, sour cream or no sour cream you can't go wrong with this and if you are pressed for time there's always those wonderful store bought pita chips from Boston.
Fair warning, taste as you go, adjust salt, pepper, dill and garlic to your taste.

I didn't have the sour cream and I used dried dill, but even with these minor adjustments, it was amazing! Thanks Ina

Ina is one of my favorite Food Network Chefs. Her recipes are easy to
follow and full of flavor. I tried the tzatziki and thought it was very good.
I will definitely make this recipe again. The only thing I would change would be.
to cut down the salt to 1 tsp. That's just my opinion because it tasted a
little on the salty side for me.

I tried this recipe today and it was really really good. I was unable to find any greek yogurt at any of my local stores so i used plain and drained it for 3 hours then used it. I was so impressed with how well this turned out and will making it for all my family gatherings from now on. Really really yummy!

I made this yummy sauce to go with chicken gyros. It's so easy and delicious. I didn't have the white wine vinegar, but it turned out awesome. It was so good that I made another batch to take to a party to serve with pita chips. Everyone loved it.
