My family and I loved this recipe. My husband doesn't like chili but he loved this. i used pinto beans instead of the beans Aaron used and i didn't use the chilies because i have kids and didn't want it to hot. It came out great and i'll make it again for sure. THANKS BIG DADDY!!! Keep up the good work.

I'm 2 for 2 with Aaron McCargo's recipes. First the Pan seared Halibut (amazing!, now this. I followed the recipe almost exactly. I was out of cayenne, but a few shakes of hot sauce and we were good, and I threw in some corn at the end. Also, my family tends to eat a little less meat, so I cut up one chicken breast and made up for the volume with some chickpeas. The only reason I docked a star is because this is a little creamy for my taste. (I don't even want to THINK of what the fat content is for this dish!!! Next time, I'll probably just use half the cream and leave everything else as is. In any case, the flavors were on point and super tasty with tortilla chips and cheese. I'm psyched to move on to more of his recipes!

We watched it on the DVR and instead of deep dish pizza for my birthday weekend I embarked on the journey to make 2 versions of this dish. A vegetarian version and a straight up McCargo Jr. SPECIAL. I believe both turned out delicious. I think everyone went back for thirds which is the ultimate compliment. I think this is one of those dishes I will make whenever I am craving chili. Yummy dude ... Yummy!!!

This was the first time that I tried one of these recipes. Big Daddy made is sound so good, it haunted me...until last night!!! I am telling every one about it and I will be watching the show more often! Thanks so much!

BTW, the recipe states 1stick butter, divided, but only identifies the use of 4 tbsps. What's up w/ the other half???

This chicken chili recipe was great! When I was watching your show I thought chicken chile was going to be a "traditional" chili recipe. It was so different but with the great seasonings in "traditional" chili. I did leave out the beans and served it over rice............ being Cajun and all. It was wonderful and we enjoyed it. That is going to be on my list for company! Thanks!!!!
