This was suppose to go to the church chile cook off, Never made it, the neighbors came in and started tasting it and then another friend stopped by and soon it was over half gone. It is a winner. I tweaked the seasonings a bit( I make a special blend of Mexican seasoningand added chopped pickled jalapeno peppers to the onion and pepper mixture. also added a torn corn tortilla to the mix. This without the beans would make a great sauce over pasta. You could make variations of this with shrimp. It is a keeper, but not something we would eat everyweek. You could cut the sour cream down, is rich enough as it is. Great recipe.

Excellent recipe and it taste so very very very good. I have not went back to red/traditional chili sense; however this CHUNKY CHICKEN CHILI will be my traditional from now on. I could no longer make the traditional due to acid reflux and I love chili so this recipe came right on time. I started the recipe by reducing the amt of heat i put in the chili this is just awesome also rotisserie chicken works wonders as well, I just removed it from the bones and chopped it up excellent. I wouldn't cook my chili no other way my grands, daughter her class mates etc loves it. Thanks Aaron

This chili was wonderful. Even though there are no tomatoes in it, the seasoning and flavor makes you feel as though you are eating a traditional beef chili. For those who can't handle heat, you might want to lessen the amount of cayenne you put into the recipe. Loved it!!!!

So much flavor developed in so little time. My four year old son and I made this dish together tonight for tomorrows dinner it was so easy. My husband, six year old son, four year old son, and myself all had to taste it tonight....my two boys kept coming back for "one more taste". Needless to say we can't wait for dinner tomorrow night.

This was good as is but I think I might enjoy it more using rotisserie chicken. Just makes life a lot simpler and I think I might also prefer the shredded chicken over the cubed chicken. I went easy on the cayenne pepper but otherwise went with the recommended spices. This is one of those recipes that is easy to adjust to your own personal taste. Next time I'll use more liquids too -- probably chicken broth. There's enough fat in this recipe. More cream simply wouldn't be necessary. Oh yeah, and I too couldn't figure out where the other 4 Tbls. of butter went. Believe me, it's not needed.

This was very good, simple and fast to prepare. My husband and son gobbled it up last night and then took the rest to work for lunch today. I only used 1/2 stick of butter at the beginning...never figured out what I was supposed to do with the other half. I also left out the sour cream at the end. After tasting it I decided the sour cream would not bring anything to the party. This is the first of Big Daddy's recipes I've tried and it is a keeper.
