I was astounded when I dipped my bread into this incredibly wonderful tasting dip and it tasted just like a hoagie ! It was even better the next day. The flavors had time to just combine with one another. I am keeping this recipe close to me! Great for parties etc....

This was delicious! Has been a hit at work super bowl parties. I did omit the mayo. SInce i made this the night before and served it the next day, i added in the lettuce and tomato as I put it out on the table so it woul dnot get soggy. Overall amazing appetizer!

Made hours in advance to let flavors combine. Waited until the last minute to put in lettuce. Let guests cut their own bread so it wouldn't dry out. Preferred banana peppers.

I made this to bring to another couple's house to watch football. It sounded like the perfect "guy food". Boy was I right! Everyone enjoyed it, but the guys absolutely devoured it. What a great idea to make a hoagie into dip. I did add a few more peperoncini peppers than the recipe called for since we really like them. Yummy dip.

I made this for a large family gathering so I doubled the recipe. It is labor intensive but worth it. I found a few little shortcuts by eliminating the EVOO, oregano and basil and using Boar's Head Deli Dressing instead. I also added the meats to the Cuisinart and gave it 3 or 4 pulses and everything was shreaded. Something delicious and really different. Huge Hit!

This was a huge hit for tailgating! I made it the day before and it still tasted great! Easily transported in the cooler to the big game as well :

I love this recipe! It really does taste just like a hoagie. I haven't made any major adjustments-just added a little less mayo.

This is absolutely delicious! You can use any deli meat you like. I added turkey and bologna and it was a HUGE hit at the party. I used sliced baguette instead of the bread bowl. It's also excellent the next day- flavors meld overnight and it's just yummy!
