Hate it hate it hate it.! It was to sweet and tasted like corn syrup. It does not taste like carmal. This is like comparing Log Cabin syup to real Ohio Maple syrup. This recipe is like log cabin, it's it the real thing. Keep looking.

by the time you let it cool enough to coat the apples it cools way to fast to finish them and I had enough left to make candy with. Good tasting but cools to fast.

This is the "WORST" recipe ever!!! Research other receipies on the Internet that use brown sugar. Don't waste your time on this receipe, FN should take it down.

Very good tasting . But the Caramel is thick enough to coat a spoon way before it's cool. We dipped our apples in and the Carmel was still to thin to stay thick on the apple . I would suggest you let it get completely cool, then it is thick enough to put a nice thick coating on the apple.

I've never made caramel before, so this took me a couple tries to get. The second batch was great, the first and third not so much, and overall I found it just too much of a hassle. That's the nature of caramel/cooking sugar, true, but the end taste of the caramel didn't really make up for the time and frustration.
