Everything about this recipe is awesome! Some reviews say, "Why use alcohol?"....you taste it in the end! Trust me...if someone gave this less than a 5 star review...THEY didn't cook it right! If you suck in the kitchen normally, this will be a HUGE redeemer!

First let me say that I LOVE RACHAEL RAY that is why I keep trying her recipes. So far I have not really enjoyed any of them including this one and the RED WHITE BEANS (taste like canned pork and beans with rosemary. This was not good. I think though that most recipes that come from someone on the northeast coast just are not agreeable in taste to those of us in the south. Sorry we southerners have ya'll beat in the food arena.

This is some harsh critic. I believe that Rachel Ray is a great cook, she gives great easy made ideas for everybody to enjoy. If you do not like her, then I suggest that you do not watch her show. Did you all watch her starring on Iron Chef America with Mario Batali? she rocked the Stadium. Steaks were great and recipe was excellent :

This is for Kamelia- Are you forced to watch 30 minute meals? If you don't like the show or the host don't watch- but don't bash somebody who obviously is very good and very sucessful at what she's doing. Don't see a line of Kamelia cookware or food products or a Kamelia charity or talk show or any Kamelia anything for that matter. Maybe you should try a sip of wine or any alcohol for that matter so you won't be wound so tight. Pettiness and jealousy are ugly and unnecessary.

Kamelia: Perhaps you should try out for The Next Food Network Star. You certainly seem to know it all. I'm just learning how to cook, and I thought this recipe would be perfect. Turns out the the family loved it. The garlic and lemon flavors were terrific. And, in case you missed it, you burn the alcohol off, leaving a great flavor. Bravo Rachel!

I did use sirloin steak cut-up rather than sirloin tips. Really did not think is was anything special

This would have been nice if it had not been ruined by the addition of alcohol. Why do we need alcohol in there anyway? Why not use grape or apple juice concentrate instead?

With that said though, I question the necessity of the airing of this recipe. Did anyone need to be shown how to saute sirloin tips and add usual flavorings? I didn't, nor were the other recipes in this episode necessary as they are pretty much usual dinner components.

That is so typical of Rachel Ray. I don't think she has ever cooked anything that has even provided me with a good idea, much less a recipe. She cooks very little but gives the impression that she has done a lot.

Whose bright idea was it to bring her back??? I thought she had been fired last year.

I gave the entire aired menu a try and loved it, although it definitely took longer than 30 minutes with prep. The tip steak was extremely flavorful and delicious! My only suggestion is to pull back on the lemon juice to maybe only half a lemon.

This was a easy and good recipe, I added a sprig of rosemary to the pan and it tasted great! I served it with the rice pilaf and red beans she made in the episode. The rice and beans were an odd combination but they tasted great! I just wouldn't serve it together though....
