classic mexican treat , also served with cucumber and jicama. very tasty. I have always prepared the fruits cut in spears. had no idea how to put mango on a stick thanks for showing the method.

Eating it is like being home. Kudos to Sonny for showing people how such strange combos go so well together. DELICIOUS! although...i think the mango deserves some credit =

Okay, honestly when I watched Sunny put lime juice, salt, and chili powder on a mango, my jaw dropped in disbelief! I thought she'd lost her mind! I adore mangos, but how could this bizarre flavor combination work? She assured us viewers that, although it seemed an odd combiination, just try it, so I did. WOW! It is a total yummy surprise, a true flavor explosion in my mouth! Although I can't quite get the "on a stick" part to work, the flavors of these few simple ingredients are a MUST-TRY for any mango lover. I learn so much on the Food Network and learning to pair up seemingly uncomplimentary flavors to create something delicious is such a joy to learn.. and eat! Thank you Sunny for bringin this recipe to me, which I will use often for the rest of my mango-lovin' life. -Theresa
