Overall, this was a tasty and easy recipe. My store didn't have spinach ravioli, so I threw some fresh baby spinach into the tomato sauce while it simmered. One caveat: I'm not much of a salami person, so I failed to take into account how much salt the salami added to the sauce and added the salt as directed - it ended up REALLY REALLY salty! (The fact that I was using Genoa salami instead of Italian salami may have affected that - my store also didn't have Italian salami. I won't add any additional salt next time.

Not sure why people complain about a recipe using some ready made ingredients. For those of us looking for a quick weeknight meal, this fit the bill perfectly! The sauce is -- without question -- the best I have ever made. So fresh tasting yet slightly complex. I'm guessing it's the addition of the salami that adds the complexity. Don't leave it out! As others have said, you can use this on a multitude of pasta types. So easy! So quick! So (seemingly gourmet!

Agreed about sauce for frozen pasta. We dont have those ravioli here so i got the butoni tortelini which worked fine. Instead of messing with all that chopping, which I suck at, slapped the garlic, salami, basil and seasoning into the food processor all together and then threw it in the skillet. Overall not that impressive, but its a nice way to sneak meat into a recipe with a 2 year old! I'd give it a 2.5 if i had a halvsies option, because it doesn't deserve a "poor" label.

If looking for a recipe for the ravioli look it up ---this was in the quck and easy weeknight meals and fits the bill perfectly especially the sauce. Will make again and use other ravioli types and then adding wilted spinach like Susan did.

This recipe should have been called "sauce for frozen pasta you buy in grocery". I would think the recipe would be for making the pasta also.

This recipe sounds delicious, but the sodium - UGH. way too much.
