These were excellent. If anyone out there didn't like the sauce because it was still white, you need to bake it long enough to brown on top and have the cheese melt. You could even turn the broiler on for a few minutes, but watch it carefully. These were a big hit at Thanksgiving, even for those that didn't like brussel sprouts.

I was excited to make this because I like brussel sprouts and I like experimenting. I didn't eat my first helping. The sauce came out more like what you'd eat on biscuits, which I don't think married well with the sprouts. Also, my cheese didn't really melt. Overall, I was pretty disappointed.

I love them marinated 1/2 an hour with with Olive oil and sea salt, then broiled till slightly brown. I think they taste yummy this way. This recipe adds more cheese than I want guess it's okay once a year.

I was so excited about this recipe since I wanted to do something yummy with brussel sprouts. My boyfriend whom hates brussel sprouts actually liked it and got seconds. I followed the recipe and when it cooked it became a little watery, and I was expecting it to be creamy. I also wanted a little more flavor, maybe next time I would add hot pepper flakes.

I made these last year for Christmas dinner and I can't wait to have them again for Thanksgiving. They are very rich and cheesy and so yummy! I love brussel sprouts but when they are drenched in cheese and cream I love them more! Next time I might try a different cheese but the recipe is excellent as is. Thanks again for another great recipe Claire!!!!

My husband proclaimed that Brussels Sprouts were the only vegetable he absolutely HATED and wouldn't even try, whatever recipe I made. That was a challenge I couldn't refuse. It was a bit of a struggle to get him to take that first bite... and then he had THREE HELPINGS. If you like Brussels sprouts, these are out of this world... and if you don't like Brussels sprouts, they still are!! How can you go wrong with cream sauce and rich cheese? I sprinkled the top with panko bread crumbs and stuck it under the broiler for a moment to get that golden brown crust on top. Awesome.

Those sprouts were soo good. It's so hard to get my husband eat veggies w/o compliant. But those were a hit. I will be making them again. Maybe I'll try the Jarlsburg next time. Great addition to the holiday meal.
