Delicious! However, I definitely have a few suggestions...#1 If going to any type of function with this dip, double it! The original doesn't make vey much. #2 Make sure to DRAIN the sausage/mushroom mixture before baking. Chorizo is typically a very oily sausage. #3 After draining, I mixed about 4 oz of velveeta to the sausage to aid in the melting. I still added the mont jack on top, but a little velveeta makes it more "queso" like. Try this! You will enjoy it!

This has to be he worst queso I have ever eaten. The cheese did not melt, and the chorizo is the totally wrong for queso. Sorry Rachel, but I can't believe you actually tasted this.

We made this for a fantasy football party and it was a huge hit. Great flavors if you like spicy, we do. Never made anything with chorizo before, will now. Thanks Rach.
