These ribs were the bomb!!!! Very tasty. The best flavor was when we grilled them though after we took them out of the oven. We grilled them for about 20 minutes. Everyone loved them. It was good with the spice rub with or without the BBQ sauce. The neelys know their spices.

OMG, I did these over night in the oven. 500 for 1/2 hr., then I turned oven down to warm and baked all night.... I used 5 Lbs. of pork country ribs, my boys love meat!!!! AWESOME! I don't normally like BBQ, because it is normally too sweet but changed up the recipe to my taste. Changed my way of thinkin about BBQ!!!!

These ribs were very flavorful and moist, but I didn't care for the chili powder in it. It gave it a slightly mexican taste. I, did, however, like the cooking method. Cooking the ribs in the roaster is key.

Thanks Neely's this was a wonderful down home recipe. The rib rub was outstanding and slow cooking for ribs is the only way to go,it was worth the wait.

I watched this recipe today but wanted to ask some of you your opinion. Do you have to use the rub? Can you baste w/ the BBQ sauce instead or will the ribs dry out? The rub looks like it might be tooo tooo spicy for my taste and I wonder if that taste comes through after they're grilled and coated in sauce.
I want to make these soon. Thanks!
