I made this last night with a salad. I enjoyed this blackened recipe. I will try on other meat.

I love eating fish but I did it in the same way all the time. When I made this recipe, I got some congratulations from my family and I appreciate that.
Thanks Big Daddy because my table ROCKS that day!

My husband and I cooked it with the corn side ...just like the show. The two together were great. Alone it it wasn't as strong of a dish.

WOW. I've been living out of the country for a while and this recipe morphed me back home for the 30 minutes I sat at the dinner table. I was expecting it to be good...but it BLEW ME AWAY

Although I thought it was pretty good, my family didn't care much for this recipe. My teenagers knew it was a new recipe, they said I usually cook better than this.

I made this for the first time tonight and I must say...THIS IS REALLY GOOD! The only thing I would change is the salt in the blackened seasoning. Even though the fish is really good with all of the blackening seasoning, next time I will recipe for salt down to 1/2 tsp. instead of a whole tsp. because my boyfriend doesn't like salty food and the fish seems to be a tad bit salty but very tasty. I used only 2 tbsp of regulary paprika (ran out of paprika and didn't feel like going to the store for only smoked paprika. And I used canola oil instead of grapeseed oil. It was still delicious (especially with cornbread and stewed tomatoes w/ sausage and shrimp on the side. Mmmmmmmmm mmmmm good. Next time I'll try the corn and pepper salad. This is a keeper! Thanks Big Daddy!!!!!!

We never had Tilapia before, and my husband was really skeptical about trying it. After the first bite he said it was "sent from heaven above" and that he could "eat it twice a week". We enjoyed it so much I'm mixing up a bunch of the blackening and we'll be trying it on other fish and maybe chicken.

Fantastic flavor. Used regular paprika and cooked in an iron skillet. Used regular vegtable oil. This is a keeper!
