Wow! Perfect blackening seasoning that was enough for my family and guests (8 filets. This is my new go to blackening blend. I used canola instead of grapeseed oil. Big Daddy recipes are consistently excellent with a touch of spice.

I have done this recipe quite a few times. Those in my family who loves fish, loves this recipe. I had a hard time finding the grapeseed oil, so I used extra light virgin olive oil first few times I did the recipe. I finally found and used the grapeseed oil and no one really cared for the flavor of this fish. So, I went back to the olive oil. Otherwise this recipe is easy and great flavor.

Oh my, this was so yummy! I as well used what I had.....EVOO with a pat of butter for blackening and regular paprika. I also took the cayenne down to a qtr of what was called for. Very quick and easy on a whim dish. I can't wait to make it with the exact ingredients!

Just made this for dinner and it was great! I only had regular paprika, and I didn't have onion powder or thyme. Annnd I used EVOO instead of grapeseed oil. It's still the same recipe, right? LOL It was still delicious. Bonus points for ease. :-

Made this last night and my husband loved it! He's usually the cook who uses tons of spices and is a wiz in the kitchen so it was great to make something that tastes and looked as amazing as a restaurant worthy dish! It is very spicy but my pallet is sensitive .. Other then that it's perfect! We will be cooking this a lot! And it's so healthy too!
