This soup is awesome! I don't like garbanzo beans so I left it out, and added extra green beans. I love the lemon in it, because it tastes so refreshing. The grated cheese on top just perfects this dish. I didn't think I would like it, but everyone was raving about it, so I tried it. This is going to be a keeper!

My family loved this dish. It was the perfect for the cold day. It's not easy getting my family to eat beans but this dish made it simple. I didn't have rosemary so I added oregano out of desperation and it was still amazing.

I thought this was an extremely good tasting dish. My husband and I both really enjoyed it and it was quite filling. My only tiny complaint is that though I like a lemony taste, I thought it was a little too lemony. That's the reason my younger daughter wasn't crazy about it. I think the next time I will just cut down the amount of lemon juice a little bit. But overall a really nice pasta e fagioli recipe which was different that what I've made in the past.

This recipie was absolutly amazing!! I left out the green beans and used marinara sauce instead of the paste. I also cooked the macaroni pasta and then added it the soup with 3 minutes left. It's a great soup for a cold, January day!!

I just made this recipe yesterday and it was a total hit. We actually had leftovers today and the taste was even better - the lemon zest and juice add a nice kick to it. My husband just asked me to make more and freeze it. A great cold weather soup even in Southern California.

I love this dish,I make it quite often...I do leave out a couple things..like the lemon...I should try it sometime..I usually leave out the green beans..but there's really no reason to that.I like green beans,it just makes the soup almost too full.I use whole wheat pasta and I also use more chicken stock.I love the beans.

I forgot the lemon *forehead smack* Next time I will add the lemon! I LOVE this recipe! I'm eating it now lol I get it at Olive Garden all the time and wanted to see if I could make it! Next time I think I'll add the whole can of tomato paste but I think the recipe is great as is!

I love this soup. It really hits all the marks. It's tasty and filling. It's super easy to make. It's very budget friendly and a healthy dish! I loved the hint of lemon. I used whole grain pasta to add some fiber benefits. The dash of salty cheese to top it just beings out great flavor of the soup. Will be added to our rotation of family meals! Thank you so much Rachael!
