I just tried this tuna recipe, and it was so amazing! I love that it doesn't contain mayo in it. So I will definitely make it to put on salad, as well. It's so delicious!

These were delicious! I made them with swiss cheese instead of provolone cheese. These were a little hard to make because they kept falling apart in the skillet, that is why I gave it 4 stars.

I am making this for the second time. To be honest, I prefer it a great deal over traditional "tuna salad" sandwich filling. Due to my diet, I am making it to serve over lettuce & tomato slices for lunches this week. I will probably rarely if ever use traditional tuna salad as this was so bright, light, flavorful, and fresh tasting. I too was nervous about the anchovy paste, but it did not overpower the dish in any way and gave it a punch of flavor.

This was delicious! I left out the anchovy paste because I didn't have any. I will definetly make it again.

very delish and please don't be repelled with the anchovy paste. you could hardly taste its presence! love this recipe so much so that there is no mayonnaise in it. again as always, i added few dashes of Tabasco sauce on our sandwiches/rolls except for my 11-yr old daughter. thank you, Rachael!

This recipe is AMAZING!! My family always used mayonaisse and pickles in tuna salad, but after trying this, I will never use that method again!! I was a little skeptical of the cheese and tuna combo also. After tasting it tho, Fontina is a PERFECT choice! Hi-Five on this one Rachael!!

I "eyed" this right away, as I always have Fontina cheese on hand. I did follow the ingredients pretty much as stated. Please DO use the anchovy paste...everyone is afraid of it, but it really adds such a subtle flavor, you will never think...eww....fishy!!...it is really a must in tuna!! I also added a small splash of vinegar to my mix. Perfect amount of tanginess combined with the creamy Fontina cheese. Even the picky eaters in my family love this tuna sandwich....although I may not tell them it has anchovy paste in it!!!!!!

First of all I DON'T LIKE TUNA! This was an amazing dish! I didn't have any celery, so I used celery seeds. Didn't have Fontina cheese, so I used Gouda and exchanged red onion for sweet onion (family preference my husband and boys asked I make it again and add it to our list of yummo recipes! I did read someone used a cracker and I will have to try that as well, sounds really good!

Nice change for tuna. The sandwiches were good but the appetizer crackers were even better. Everyone loved them. Definitely will return to this dish as a main course and/or appetizer.

I made this for my husband and I modified it because I did not have everything I needed. We did not have anchovy paste or New England rolls or fontina cheese so I left out the anchovy used a kaiser roll and good ole white american. It was a hit can't wait to try it with all the ingredients that I did not have. We even ate the leftovers the next day on a salad.
