I made this as a side dish for dinner and I am not sure why but it fell short for me. I followed the recipe exactly, but I felt it did not have enough flavor even with the salt and cayenne added. I used instant rice, maybe this had something to do with it. I might try to make it again with modifications.

The whole family loved it. Very tasty and flavorful! I baked it at 350 because I was cooking other things in the same oven, and it worked very well. Makes about four servings.

this was EXCELLENT and so easy. i did not dot with butter since it was already pretty rich sounding and i baked at a lower temp (350 to keep the cheese from browning. the flavors all worked together so well...loved the green onion flavor with the other ingredients--very complimentary. i have added this to my favorites! :

WOW what a quick easy recipe. Using your leftover rice and a few ingrediants you can make a totally super new side dish. Thought it was going to be dry - but it wasn't. Will also be a great dish to take to potluck dinners. Thanks.

I didn't have any scallions on hand, so I decided to go ahead and make this dish without them. It was so delicious! I covered the bottom of the dish in freshly-grated Parmesan and completely covered the top as well, which gave it a nice, cheesy layer. It is quick, easy, and delicious!

My family loves this as a side with porkchops. I make it almost weekly. I did adjust/double it, but its still a great tasting, easy recipe

Love the flavor but not 100 % happy with consistency. It's so easy and delicious - it's worth continuing to experiment with until I find the perfect way to prepare it for my tastes.
