    Great recipe...
But FYI: WELL's Restaurant (opened in 1938 introduced chicken and waffles well before ROSCOE'S began.
Herb Hudson, no doubt, being from Harlem knew of WELL's reputation for chicken and waffles and initiated the concept in Los Angles in 1976.

In reviewing the recipe, I noticed that it calls for eggs, but it does not give the number of eggs needed. I know from watching the episode, it calls for six eggs.
If I decide to make the recipe and go to pull it up on internet, I will review the recipe, but I probably will not remember the number of eggs used.

Sunny really has some very redipes. Everything I have tried from Sunny's show have all been so very good and different.

This recipe is excellent. I think it works a little better if it is left to rest for about 20 minutes before starting the cooking process.

These are one of the best waffles that I have ever tasted! I used chopped pecans and almonds instead of walnuts. The waffles are light with just a hint of lemons. Delicious! I served the waffles with the greens and chicken that were on the Goin' Back to Cali, Kinda Show. I didn't think they were going to work well together. I was pleasantly surprised! A must try...at least one a month.

Even though my egg whites did not "peak", the waffles still came out soft and big and delicious. my friend loved them also.

Wow...I finally know the secret to really light and fluffy pancakes. The lemon flavor was incredibly refreshing and a perfect flavor punch for the morning. What I love most about this recipe is that it is very functional and interchangeable. The first time I made it, I followed the recipe to the letter. However, the second time, I substituted the lemons and walnuts for blueberries. Using the same technique, I was able to create heavenly light and delicious pancakes!! yummy! Thank you Sunny!

Excellent waffles. Can be used in a sweet or savory application; with or without the walnuts. Thanks again Sunny for another great recipe!
