I thorougly enjoyed making this recipe. I prefer making fresh dough any day than to purchase it. Idea of skillet is wonderful and it keeps the house cool. Nice one for the summer. It felt healther to have it as well because of the flat crust and the vegetables. Enjoyed it with a nice glass of Chardonnay. I took the rest to lunch and they all asked what it was, and I told them about it and now, 5 more will make it.

I didb't make this exact pizza but I used the recipe for the pizza crust and it came out soo good. Nice and crispy and tasty. It was the best I've made yet. Thanks Alex!

I couldn't even wait to finish eating before I wrote this review! I just made this tonight, and though it took a pretty long time (maybe about an hour once the dough was done, it is SO SO SO GOOD. I didn't have a cast iron skillet, and because of this, I don't think my crust crisped up as much. I don't even care! I will be eating the leftovers for the next week!

Made this after watching the show yesterday. I bought dough in the Publix bakery department, rolled it out and followed her instructions from there. This is time consuming, but uniquely delicious. Hubby loved it. There is no substitute for broccoli rabe, and the ingredients worked wonderfully together. I made no substitutions or additions. When baking to melt the cheese, ended up putting the oven on convection to melt and brown the cheese a bit. Served this with a Moosewood recipe for Cream of Carrot Soup. It was a nice compliment to counter the bitterness of the rabe. Thanks for a great recipe!

I have made this dough, although I topped it with what I happened to have on hand. It was easy and wonderful. My husband requests this pizza dough and it's easy enough to make that I can make it on a weeknight too.

Please clarify as to whether you tried the recipe or not. It's unfair to rate it 1 star because you know there are easier ways to make a generic pizza, but if you made it and then think it's a waste of time, I'd love to know before I take it on!
