... a great way to use those leftover Thanksgiving mashed potatoes! My husband and I saw this dish featured on "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" back in 2009, and I knew then I had to make it! Other than the pancetta I didn't have on hand, I made the recipe exactly as stated. Very good and fattening, too--YIKES! My husband, who has a secret crush on Giada, really enjoyed it so this will be something I will make again.

This was a hit at my Thanksgiving party. Everyone scarfed these potatoes down. I was sad there were no leftovers.... I will definitely make this again. Delicious!

Saw this on a Thanksgiving episode and tried it on my family, they LOVED IT!!!! It was easy and requested often when doing a potatoe side dish. Will not go back to regular mash potatoes again. Thanks Giada!

I made this for a group and three of the eight people said they were the best mashed potatoes they had ever had. I substitued smoked gouda for the mozzarella to give it even more zip. Fantastic!

Standing ovation from the family. This is one of the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. They were amazing and super simple to make. My top didn't come out quite right but I may not have bake it long enough. There will defiantly be making several appearances in this household.
