So good, seemed a little spicy. I started with half the spices and added extra orange juice. SO good.

Definitely enjoyed this recipe. The only problem was that it was VERY HOT. I love spicey food, but this was a little over the top. I will cut back on the hot sauce and red pepper flakes next time. I also used boneless chicken breasts along with the thighs, and it came out great. The prunes are a nice touch. Thanks, Neelys!

It had an alright flavor, but the "crust" of the chicken was too soggy after simmering in liquid. I won't make it again.

This was a good dish. I did not use white wine, but 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar and 1/2 cup apple juice. I also used 2 oranges zested and juice from both. Next time i will use less vinegar and more apple juice. Thank you both.

To, aljm413, the recipe did use and ask for boneless thighs, it did say skin side (meaty side down because they meant the side with the skin was the thickest. I used boneless skinless and they are always available at my local grocer, Publics. I did have to reduce the heat by cutting the red pepper and pepper chips by half. You are right they really give thighs a place on the food map. eh

This was amazing! My dad doesn't like chicken thighs but enjoyed the meal and it had such a unique combination of flavors. I will def be making this again! I made it w/ 12 (bone in thighs and increased the ingredients. Also, just a note, I am pretty sure on the show they didn't use boneless, skinless so the recipe reads wrong...esp since it tells you to place the chicken skin side down! : I didn't change anything on the recipe, perfect as it is!

I was looking to do something different with my chicken. This was not good. Had a weird taste and I realized I don't like cooked prunes.

I loved this recipe. I too cut the pepper and hot sauce in half. My family didn't care for it so more for me. I ate it for the next few day. Even better the next day.

This is a fantastic chicken dish. After reading the reviews i cut the pepper flakes and hot sauce in half and it still had a nice kick. Loved the wine and mustard flavor. I thought the orange would be too much, but i added it anyways and it was perfect! Will be making this again very soon!

This is one of the best chicken thigh recipes that I have made. A subtle taste of the orange with a whisp of hot on the back of the tongue was fabulous. The sauce thickened beautifully, but not too much. The prunes were a great addition, as well. This will be in my recipe box and is certainly worthy of a company dinner!
