Very nice. I mixed one white and one orange (called yams in the store sweet potato and adjusted the other ingredients as necessary. I am enjoying the mix as it is less sweet than just orange sweet potatoes (yams.

Very good recipe. I added a little pumpkin pie spice and didn't bother with the nuts - next time I will add those. I used 1/4C butter and that was plenty.

I was looking for an easy, quick, and simple recipe and this worked just fine. I added nutmeg and think it improved the dish.

My family has always been partial to regular mashed taters, but this recipe rocks! The only time we usually eat sweet potatoes is during thanksgiving and christmas, WELL THINGS HAVE CHANGED. I just tweaked it, adding 1/4 tsp nutmeg and 3 TBSP brown sugar. O my gosh these rock. This recipe is a keeper! Thank you paula :

I enjoyed this recipe. However, it seemed to lack something. Perhaps I will try more pecans and some freshly ground nutmeg in addition to the other ingredients already listed.

These were so yummy, I could have licked the pan clean! I had to tweak the recipe a bit, I cut the recipe in 1/2, I used 5 cups of cubed sweet potatoes and followed the boiling time for 8 minutes, I used 1/4 cup butter and had to add way more honey, cinnamon, and salt to taste, I think it would have been great using some cayenne pepper for a kick (will try next time. This amount would have served 4 people if we had guests. Glad we have the leftovers! I will make this recipe again! I served it with grilled jamaican jerk pork chops and grilled green beans. It was very good!! Thanks Paula!
