I'm giving this five stars because it's super easy to make and pretty low in fat - and was really good, and was dynamite the next day, chilled. I made just 1/3 of the recipe - but didn't have enough topping. If I did this again, would make more. After 20 minutes I sprinkled some oats and some more flour on it and baked it another 10 min, and that did the trick. Another thing I may have done wrong is to not use self rising flour. I probably should have added baking soda or powder. Anyways, I won't penalize the recipe for my own changes. Will definitely be making this again!! I did not find it to be too sweet, yet I may try to reduce the sugar just to make it a little lower calorie.

Really good recipe love adding ginger and nutmeg. Always makes deserts taste better. Made one for a work BBQ and it was gone with in 20 minutes and everyone loved it so much. We loved it so much we made a second one just for us.

I made this dish for a potluck at work and it was gone in less than 10 minutes. I will definitely be making this on a regular basis. I am going to tweak it but I know it'll still be awesome!

My husband and I have used this recipe twice. The second time came out even better than the first. I admit we tweaked a couple of things like adding more sugar to the topping. I normally can't stand doughy topping and it stops me from eating most people's cobblers, so in went the extra sugar and 'Voila'! It melted in our mouths! Thank you for the recipe. Will definitely use the next time we have a dinner party.

I loved this dessert! This was my first time making an apple cobbler and this recipe was super easy. I was skeptical about the quantity of the topping but it spread evenly and completely, just as the directions say. I cut back just a little bit on the sugar in the topping. It was perfect for my taste, not too sweet. I did not make the whipped cream but will consider doing so the next time. I definitely plan to make this dessert again!

Super Yummy. I've made this a few times and it's always delish. Only down side is that if you have leftovers the crust gets soggy. Love this recipe.

Very good...a bit sweet, but I'll try it again. I didn't add the lemon juice or the ginger and I still keep nibbling on it. Great dessert!!

This was a nice recipe. a 5 star because of the simplicity & the taste...my 10 yr. old son made it for desert tonight, and he was so excited and proud. However, a 4 star because it was a bit too sweet for my taste, and it needed some water to loosen up the apples. It was very tasty though and we will make it again.

It was so delish, the topping was so lite and the whipcream light and fluffy.
