    Love this recipe!

Now, for the person who hates cheese but wants a corn pudding recipe, I highly recommend this old Virginia recipe. It is a sweet corn pudding, yet is traditionally served as a side dish with meat and fowl.

    1 can Cream corn
    1 can sweet corn
    2 tbs melted butter
    1 can sweetned condensed milk
    3 eggs
    1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
    dash nutmeg

Heat oven to 375* Mix all ingredients and pour into a buttered round casserole dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Place dish in a pan with 2-3 inches of boiling water and place in oven. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.

This recipe sounds alot like Paula Deen's Corn Casserole which is a BIG hit in our house. So, I had to try this one! It's a good dish. But I'm still a little partial to Paula's. The judge will be my friends and family tomorrow night at our Christmas Eve dinner! I'll let them be the judges! Smile....

Easy to make and pleases many tastes! I served this with a pork roast - it would also go well with beef or turkey. Very tasty! Leftovers heat well in the microwave - if you have any leftovers!

I made this to go with the mini meatloaves (from the same issue and it was a perfect pair. I wish my mom had had a recipe like this when I was a kid - I would have eaten my corn then!

I made this for a dinner party and everybody loved it!! I used lowfat cream cheese and 2% cheese, and it turned out wonderfully. The only changes I made was I added 1/2 of a chopped green chile (old el paso and a few dashes of Frank's hot sauce (we like a kick. it was very good!! I will definitely make this again.

My family has made this, using almost the same recipe for years, except that we saute the onions with green bell peppers and add those in as well. I love the extra zing that the bell peppers add and wouldn't make the dish without them.

Made this instead of the corn casserole that my family has made for years. Very easy to make. Everyone loved it and said it was better than what we usually had. Very similar to what ChiChi's used to serve as their sweet corn cake but not as sweet. I will make it again soon just for dinners.
