Wow this was really tasty! I like that it's not overly sweet and had more a savory flavor. And it's good for lunch the next day. I will be making this again.

My whole family loved this! I used maple bacon instead, and garnished with a generous sprinkle of cheese. My husband thought it needed more seasoning though. Next time I will probably kick up the spices a little.

Lots of soup lovers in my house but getting sick of same old, same old. Tried this and I loved it. Used unflavored soy milk instead of regular, didn't use prosciutto, and it was still great. Yes, it's got a just a touch of sweet but I think that makes it interesting. Great to sip out of a mug on a cold day.

I was hoping that this recipe would have a ton of flavor but it didn't...of course I didn't put the prosciutto on because I am on a budget. I think it just needed a little spice to it. I also didn't put that much milk in the recipe...just added a little after blending it. The soup was still really creamy and less fat this way ( I also didn't put in the recommended amount of cheese.

Was looking for comfort food, and found this wonderful soup..flavor is surprising and fairly easy to make..very filling and looks like it is low calorie. Don't forget to do the prosciutto (sp it adds to the combinations of flavors...

THIS IS THE MOST DISGUSTING RECIPE I'VE EVER TRIED! I HAD TO THROW IT AWAY JUST AFTER A FEW BITES. IT IS SWEET AND NASTY.

I added some cayenne pepper and maple syrup to this soup to give it a little more kapow! It was really good to start but I thought it was lacking something.

I have a spicy recipe for butternut squash soup and this is an excellent change. Not too appley, the apple taste is very mild, goes incredibly well with the crunchy prosciutto! We loved it! Only peeled the potato, didn't peel the apples. Great recipe!!!

So...the name of the recipe may throw some people a bit off...apple/cheddar/squash. Because it did me. However I decided to give it a chance after reading the review (all of which were wonderful. I must say, this soup is superb. While the soup was only half done, my daughter was already asking for some...."it smelled so good". So please everyone give this soup a try. It's surprising awesome and will taste like you are at a gourmet restaurant.
