While I usually prefer to make recipes that have already been reviewed, I decided to try this one based on the ingredients, all of which I like and regularly use in other baked goods. The crust/crumble topping is to die for and very easy to make! The sweetness of the cream cheese and condensed milk filling is balanced by the lemon zest and juice. My only deviation was to use toasted quick oats instead of old fashioned rolled oats, because that's what I had. My son and I each had a piece before it was fully chilled, and I expect the flavor to be even better after it's been refrigerated overnight. I did use butterscotch chips, but I think this would be great with peanut butter chips as well. This is the first Anne Burrell recipe I've tried, but I'm sure I will try more now that I know this one is so good!
