These did take a while to make, maybe 3 hours, but they were totally worth it. Very sweet, but with 5 cups of confectioners sugar in the recipe you've gotta expect that. Great for people with a sweet tooth!

i followed this recipe exactly (except for the coconut flakes and do not see what the big deal is. AND i have 5 kids ages 6 and under. (if that matters to a recipe review.
you do have to let the peanut butter mixture cool in the fridge, but i just continued with other recipes i was making until they were ready. then you dipped them in some chocolate and rolled them in cracker crumbs. again, i did something else while that refrigerated.
i put the mallow fluff in a plastic bag, as suggested, and it worked out perfectly. very quick and not messy at all.
not a hard recipe by any means. i will say that they were a little too sweet for me, but my sugar-aholic friend & my friend who is pregnant right now LOVED them.

I agree with every negative comment on all the other reviews that you have on this cookie. It takes a very long time, too many steps, and not enough of certain ingredients. It took five hours to make, three people to help, and 2 trips to the store to complete something that I'm still not sure what it is that I made. It probably would be easier if you took two graham crackers, a hershey bar, and a melted marshmallow, stacked them, and then you have something good to eat. It is also easy !

I wish that I had read the reviews before making these. I have a 7 month old baby and so it literally took me all day to make these. Way too time consuming and I agree with the others, they are way too sweet. I almost threw the whole thing out several times! What a disappointment!

After reading all the previous bad reviews, I still forged ahead with the recipe. I only added 3 cups of powdered sugar, as other reviewes suggested. This "cookie" was just soooo sweet after being dipped in chocolate. I had to throw it all out. Keep in mind, this is not a cookie even though it's advertised under the Holiday Cookie section. There is no cooking involved. It's essentially a ball of peanut butter, butter, and sugar that is dipped in chocolate, graham crackers, and coconut. A very odd dessert even though it includes normal dessert ingredients. I'd skip this recipe if I were you.

I don't know what possessed me to make this "cookie" which ended up taking 4 hours to make, and more than half of the dough wound up in the garbage. Dough was extremely difficult to work with, it was way too sweet and totally not worth the effort. Don't waste your time.

I could not wait to try this and now it has cost me not only time
.e but. I ended up throwing the whole thing out after trying to cut it with other things I had. It was way to sweet and the dough would not hold together it was to crumbly. I guess I learned to always read the reviews.

I really wanted to make this recipe, but I was glad I read the comments first. I decided to go into it know I was going to improvise as I went. Instead of rice cereal I substituted graham cracker crumbs right in the dough, and I cut back the powdered sugar to 3 cups (plenty sweet. I used the bar suggestion of the other reviewers, layering the dough with marshmallow (which I toasted with a torch and then drizzled the chocolate over the top. I then cut them into 1"x1" squares. They were pretty and yummy. If you line your pan with wax paper you can pull the entire thing out which makes it easier to cut into pieces.

I was very excited when I saw this recipe. Excitment turned to disappointment. A cookie that made 115 in one batch. Wow! I only got 115 coins which is only 53 bites. Unless the 115 bites was misleading. I actually measured in ounces the dough to a teaspoon size and still came up short. Dough was very crumbly and hard to work with, no indication in the recipe on how the dought should look. This is not one that I will make again even if it is a big hit when given as part of my cookie platters to friends this holiday. I am an experienced baker, not a professional, and I am truely dissapointed.
