This soup is delicious and definitely top it with the crostini. Next time I will buy the cut up squash. Will make this again and again.

i, too, made this almost immediately after watching the episode! it wasn't very difficult (it helped that i cheated and used pre-cut squash!, and it was definitely worth it. the crostini are *perfect* with the soup, so don't leave them out!

This was so delicious! I made it right after I saw Giada make it on TV. I recommend using a peeler on the skin - my knives aren't as sharp as her ;
