A little frustrating to get the filling in...but that could be a personal problem. Over all very tasty. The potato flakes on the outside were out of this world yummy!

I doctored these up a little with a handfull of cilantro and a slice of onion chopped together and added to the chicken mix and a little garlic and pepper jack cheese added just before''stuffing". My kids absolutly loved them!!! We will add this to the weekly menu in one form or another!!

I was disapointed with how little filling I could get into each puff. The potato ended up being really thick, making the frying and crunchy coating pretty useless. If there were some way to make the puffs smaller and get them to stay toegether I would be open to trying the recipe again.
The other issue is the recipe says 3 cups of potato and that is far too little for the amount of filling made. Now I have to decide if I want to go to the trouble of making more of these or find another use for the filling.

Sunny has been hitting outside the ballpark with her Tex Mex recipes lately. This is an inventive dish. My suggestion is to make sure your potatoes are cooked but not overcooked. If they have too much water them, it will make it difficult to roll out the balls. I added some flour to resolve my mistake. This potato flake coating is incredibly crispy. I may tried it for fried chicken. Sazon seasoning can be found at the bigger Walmarts. This seasoning adds a lot of flavor to the dish.

These are the perfect finger food. They are easy to make. I used left over turkey the first time. The second time I went wild I add onions and some cheese. Eeverybody loved them. I also found a new seasoning to try the sazon. I use it at least once a week.

This recipe is amazing! Plus, when you serve it, everyone asks... "How did you do that!?!". Little do they know it's so quick & easy. Some of them, I told the secret and others I just let them be impressed.. lol...

I have also played with different stuffings on the inside to change them up. And they are always awesome!

Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!!!

For those of us who didn't see the tv show, a video would be helpful. It would be much more instructive as to how the filling is put inside -- or even the size that the chicken should be chopped. I note that many very simple reciipes like "Italian Baked Chicken and Pastina" have videos, which aren't needed. Please provide video for recipes using new or unusual techniques. I'll be looking back at this recipe, hoping to see a video. Thanks. (By the way, I can't rate a recipe I haven't tried, but I can't post comments without a rating. So I'm giving it the same rating as those who have tried it.
