This turned out so delicious. Even my 10 year old son loved it! So much flavor. I only did the first part of the recipe, and not the part involving the cabbage wraps. I had to tweak the recipe a bit, mainly due to ingredients I didn't have. I used olive oil instead of canola oil, I used about 3/4 tsp of cumin instead of the full tsp (which I combined with the flour, I made my own chicken broth using 2 cups of boiling water and a large chicken buillion cube, and I used Coleman's powdered mustard instead of spicy mustard (about 1.5 tbsp's, and I did not use the parsley. After bringing the broth/mustard to a boil w/the mushrooms & onions, I added the pork chops and turned down the heat. I let them simmer for 20 minutes. There was plenty of liquid, so I'm not sure why others had problems with this being dry or too thick. I served it over white rice and everyone was crazy for it. I will definitely make this again.

I honestly don't understand how you all made this work. Once I added the flour, it was much too thick. I went ahead and added the broth, and it still ended up too thick to boil or even simmer for that matter. Followed the recipe step by step and have looked it over about 10 times now, but did nothing different. I added the pork chops to this horrible mixture and tried to simmer, but it was so thick the air would not even go through. Very disappointed.

OK, first the finished product was a big hit with the family. I loved the velvety and smokiness of the sauce along with the caramelized finish on the chops...wonderfully delicious.

I do like cumin, but still did not want it to over power the dish. Instead of the full amount of cumin I added 1/2 tsp cumin and 1/2 tsp taco seasoning. I also added a dash of red pepper flakes to the oil before I added the mushrooms and onions. It was INCREDIBLE! I would definately suggest this modification for those who want to cut back on the cumin.

Thought this recipe was horrible!! The cumin totally over powered the chops! Made this dish for a dinner party and was really embarrassed! I'm not a fan of cumin so that's why I didn't like them. On the other hand the lettuce wedge recipe was really good! But next time I'll either not use as much lettuce or double the dressing ingredients. Didnt seem to have enough dressing.

This was excellent! I loved the cumin with the hot mustard. We had it over a mushroom polenta, and it went together beautifully.

I absolutely LOVED it and couldn't believe how easy it was to make. My kids didn't like it but they are picky beyond belief.
