I have made this many times. The dressing is extremely forgiving for substitutions. I love the beautiful color of the pomegranate arils. There is one change I usually make. Rather than drizzle honey, I candy some pecans (walnuts would work too and lightly chop them and sprinkle over the salad. Divine--and some crunch!

Beautiful presentation and yummy. I've made it with goat cheese, as well as rice vinegar. Both substitutions work very well. Simple, impressive and very good.

Yummy and loved the light, but tasty dressing. My husband isn't fond of "fruit" in salads, but he loved this. I added chicken and beets too as we were having it as a dinner salad...kids loved it too!

A very good salad but using pomegranate seeds would be irritating to some (spitting seeds out, etc. I decided to create a reduction with honey of the pomegranate seeds (filtering the seeds from the pomegrate/honey liquid. I then dribbled the honey/pomegranite reduction over the salad. The salad was a big hit!

It's a breath of fresh air to find a simple recipe that let's its components shine. No list of a hundred ingredients here, and what is listed is interchangeable with the seasons. The salad is easy to toss together and the vinaigrette is simple enough to make from memory and tasty enough to be a staple for salads, drizzling over veggies and more.

I made this for Christmas and everyone loved it. Next time I make it, I am going to add candied walnuts.
