I am now known as the Wing Queen among all of my friends and children's friends! These are amazing. Make sure to follow directions exactly to have the best results! They are spot on perfect, but be prepared to spend some time and effort and remember you need to let them marinate in the rub for a while.

These Spicy Wings can be easily modified to Seasoned Wings for those with sensitive stomachs. A variety of different items can be used for dipping sauces. Have followed similar directions (temp, oil, and time and never had a problem.

I made these last night for dinner and followed the recipe almost exactly, except I added a little chipotle pepper--my latest favorite spice--to the batter (perhaps 1/4 tsp(? (I'm not one to measure things exactly. (Oh, I did omit the lemon pepper as it is not one of my favorite spices, and I didn't think it would add much to the flavor. Plus, instead of the Neelys' spicy dipping sauce, I made Bobby Flay's Blue Cheese/Celery Dipping Sauce . Excellent combo!! Wings were extremely tasty: crunchy and spicy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. Believe it or not, it's the first time I ever fried chicken! Very easy to make. Just remember to make ahead of time so wings can marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour before frying. Thank you Gina and Pat for such a tasty recipe!!
