Excellent use for Ramen noodles! An inexpensive meal too. The technique of using the cast iron skillet is key; it help to give a rich flavor to the noodles. I like how adaptable this is to use other flavors and make it my own. I will be keeping this one in the box!

A great spin on Ramen Noodles! Ramen Noodles are cheap, of course, plus I found 2 packs of mushrooms on clearance at my grocery store for $1 each! Really CHEAP & EASY dinner for my hunrgy family of 5 : Next time I plan on trying some more veggies in it.

I've made this recipe a couple of times, and the one thing that I would suggest is to make sure that the noodles are soaked long enough, otherwise the noodles come out crunchy when cooked. I don't think the suggested 5 minutes is enough time. 10 worked for me.

i made this pretty much like the recipe calls for (i used those dried mushrooms from Costco.
I couldn't resist the tradition of Ramen and added a raw egg toward the end and then seasoned with a bit of sriracha hot chili sauce.
