Obviously, Sunny has never pared her own butternut squash. Otherwise she would KNOW no one could ever eat this squash with the peel on. (I say this because she mentioned on this show that you could use it without peeling it!

I only rate recipes that I actually cook.......This was good. It was a bit challenging to peel the acorn squash, but it was worth it. My family loved it. We all thought it was tasty way to eat WINTER squash!

I have never served the skin on acorn squash to my family or friends let alone butternut squash skin. The acorn squash skin is tough and I would think hard to digest. Going to try a softer skin squash like summer or patty pan . Would like to hear other reviews.
