Fantastic warm dessert! I had to substitute a lemon for the orange since I was determined to make this dessert tonight for my husband and I after a nice dinner. The lemon flavor was a little overpowering and a bit acidic for the dish. Next time I will definitely make sure to have an orange when making this, but besides the strong lemon flavor, this dessert was very yummy! I recommend using more firm bananas so they hold up well to the heat and carmelization.

My husband was speechless and told me to dish up the other portions, as would eat the entire batch! We used 3 medium ripe and I used a meyer lemon instead of an orange.

This was simply delicious! Bananas will never be mushy again. Move over banana bread, you definitely have some stiff competition!!! Good job!

This recipe is so easy and delicious. I am learning portion control and Melissa's recipies are really helping; I didn't think there would be enough cream but it was plenty. Thanks for offering non-chocolate recipes so my boys can learn there is more to dessert than chocolate.

We all loved this dish. The glaze is a great way to add the sweetness back to a banana! The trick to browning is less flipping. Resist the urge to flip and mess with the banana while it is cooking. DOUBLE the sour cream sauce. I left out the zest (personal thing with zest and we doubled it.
