Wow! I am always looking for a great new salad and this one did not disappoint! I had to make due with what I had: red cabbage, pecans, lime instead of lemon and dried thyme instead of fresh. I also used splenda instead of sugar. It was wonderful! Enjoy!

Delicious. We made it with walnuts. Then we made with Pecans and finally, made the salad with Macadonias. All were distinct but delicious. Great cabbage salad could also experiment by using the different types of available cabage and then with a cold versions vs. warm. As I said...great cabbage salad!

My family loved Aaron's salad! The textures are really great. I did use pecans in place of the walnuts and added dijon in addition to the dry mustard in the dressing plus a little extra syrup and it was great. The coating on the nuts is really delicious and I will use that technique with other recipes that call for candied nuts. Can't wait to have the salad again! Thanks Aaron!
