The marinade for this recipe is spot on. I only used half of a poound of chicken, so the flavor was probably more pronounced than the receipe actually calls for, but it was absolutely delicious. I used sour cream for the tatziki because I had it on hand. I think the only thing that I would change next time is to use a real pita rather than the pizza dough. All in all, fantastic flavors!!

This souvlaki was absolutely delicious! I used 1 package of chicken tenders and just dumped everything in the ziplock in a snap! Couldn't be easier. So full of flavor. Can't wait to make it for company with rice pilaf and spanakopita!

I make this recipe all of the time. It's a favorite in our house and for guests alike. I make the marinade the night before as well as the taziki. It's definitely worth the wait. I just butter the pita and top with thick sliced garlic, small amount of salt (only if you're using unsalted butter and place it under the broiler for a few minutes. Serve it halved or let your guests break it into chips so it acts like a boat for the chicken, rice and taziki.
I suggest basmati rice with a small amount of butter, red pepper flakes salt and pepper to accompany it.

Delicious! I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts that go on sale all the time at my store and did not slice them. I put the marinade in a large zip top bag and added the chicken to marinade for about an hour then grilled them on a stove grill about 4 minutes per side and sliced them before serving. The sauce was just like the one they give you at the Greek restaurant. I used plain Greek yogurt and half of a seedless cucumber but I still seeded the inside a bit. Everything was great. Thank you for this recipe Sandra!

Wow! This recipe was amazing! Really tasty. I made a few changes, but it still would have been Delicious without my modifications. I put the chicken on skewers and grilled it because that is more traditional. (Before I put it on the grill I tested it on the stove and it was yummy so you could make this in the winter and it would still be great! I used my own recipe for the Tzatziki sauce. I like a thicker sauce, so I put the yogurt into a cheesecloth to drain for a few hours. I also shredded the cucumber so I could squeeze the extra water out. (Use cheesecloth for this too. I will be making this again!

This is one really tasty recipe. Next time I will double the marinade so the chicken can really soak and I'll still have enough left over for the Greek Flat Bread. This was easy, and I doubled the Tzatziki sauce so I could make Food Network Kitchen's Greek Nachos! I also strained the extra liquid out of the cucumber, as I think it would make the yogurt too watery. This is a winner we'll be having on a semi-regular basis!

Delicious! I have made this several times and it always comes out very moist and flavorful. Even my husband, who is not a huge chicken fan, loves it. Sometimes I skip the pita and use brown rice for a side. Or go whole hog and do the pitas, hummus and falafel and have a huge MiddleEastern meal. Yum!

Wow! The chicken was moist and extremely flavorful, and the tzatziki sauce was simple and delicous! I added some dried oregano to both the marinade and sauce, I only used a splash of hot sauce in the tzatziki, and shredded some of the cucumber and small-diced the rest. I also used whole wheat store-bought pitas, which were delicious with it. I'll definitely use this recipe over and over, it's so easy and so so good!
