My family liked this ok. It was nice and moist but I think it needs more flavor. Maybe some ketchup mixed into the meat? I can't put my finger on it but I think that I would make it again and add a few touches. I will keep the recipe for sure but I am still searching for the perfect one.

I am a meatloaf lover, but this was not something I will make again. I followed the recipe, and it was moist enough, but I just didn't like the flavor. I'll stick to my turkey veggie meatloaf, it blows this one out of the water.

If you follow the recipe as Ellie has written, you will end up with a very delicious, moist and somewhat healthier version of a meatloaf. My husband loved it and one of his favorite meals is meatloaf. As it was my first time making it, I didn't change a thing in the recipe. As others have mentioned, however, you may want to adjust salt, pepper and other seasonings to suit your personal taste, but those changes should not alter the end result. Will definately make this again.

I've been searching a very long time for a well seasoned meatloaf. This by far is the best I've come across. So easy to make and I can't believe how healthy it is! Will definitely be a dinner staple at my home!

I've never had meatloaf before, so I was unsure what to expect. It was amazing! My husband loved it as well, he actually ate nearly half the meatloaf. I added an extra garlic, and 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley. I had to use oat bran instead of quick-cooking oats, because it doesn't exist where I live. And there's no such thing as molasses, so for the glaze, I kept the tomato sauce, put 3 tablespoons brown sugar and 3 tablespoons cider vinegar. Thank you for the recipe!

I like to substitute venison for the beef. I also use onions and molasses inside the loaf itself for more flavor.

Considering this as one of the more healthier meatloaf recipes out there, I thought it came out pretty good. Very moist, but as some others have mentioned, sorta one noted in flavor.
I think making extra sauce, reducing and pouring it over the finished meatloaf before serving, would enhance the favors.

I am not a very good cook and had never done meat loaf for that matter. I must say this is some GOOD STUFF! my fiancee and mother absolutely loved it. I was impressed, i did not use the molasses because i did not have any and since i was in a hurry i did not let the onion and mushroom mixture cool like the recipe calls for; however, the meat loaf came out awesome. defiantly recommend this recipe :D
