This recipe was great! I don't like meatloaf that much and it was still really good. The whole family enjoyed it! I cooked it a little longer than the recipe suggested and didn't put on the sauce topping.

We absolutely adore this recipe. We made it for my family and the in-laws when we had a pre-wedding dinner, and everyone said it should be one of our signature dishes for family gatherings. Very significant compliment! Thanks Ellie!!

A non-fatty meatloaf that is tender and delicious! Could be adapted to anyone's taste preferences via seasonings. Initially the tomato-mustard-molasses sauce tasted "off" when I sampled it. HOWEVER I strongly believe in trying a recipe the first time exactly as written, knowing that culinary science is all about balancing flavors within a recipe as a whole. Sure enough, once baked onto the meatloaf and mixed with the loaf's juices, the sauce became a pleasant compliment. I would like to see more reviewers strictly follow the experts' instructions rather than judging what they imagine it will taste like and tweaking things. We all naturally do this when choosing what to fix for our families. However, in reviewing new recipes, we must prepare the recipe that has been provided!

This was fantastic. I used whole grain mustard for the topping and left out the molasses, just because I wasn't in the mood for anything sweet and it was fabulous. Everyone, age 3 and up, loved it. I will definitely make it again.

I love me some meatloaf. and this was good. it wasn't anything too new, but, it was tasty. I didn't like the molasses and mustard mix. i used dijon and it turned out well.

Did not care for this recipe. I love meatloaf but this did not taste good to us. Even threw away the leftovers. Sorry

When I make meatloaf, I use ground bison rather than ground beef.

I am not a meatloaf lover. I only made meatloaf once and it went to waste no one in my family liked it, so I never made it again. That was until I came across this recipe. I made this the other night and needless to say I didn't have any left overs for the next day. This was the best meatloaf I have ever ate.

I loved it not being a big fan of meatloaf in the first place i thought it was so good. My family on the hand weren't big fans. But i am, love the healthy types of foods...but i encourage everyone to try it.

Yummy! BBQ meatloaf is a favorite at our house, so I added 2 tablespoons of our homemade BBQ sauce instead of tomato paste with the carrot/onion/mushroom mix and topped the loaf with the homemade BBQ. This is officially our NEW favorite meatloaf.
