    I was in a hurry for frosting and found this recipe, decided to double it but in my rush doubled the butter and cream cheese, but forgot to double the powdered sugar. It was still fantastic. Will make it again and again, but think I will use my mistake recipe, seems like it would be too sweet with the doubled 4 cups of sugar. It works with l/2 the sugar, very soft and creamy and stayed that way. Will try the variations you all gave.

    I was pleased with the result. I actually added a bit more cream cheese to make it a little more tart and it turned out even better.

    This is so much better than ANY canned kind. I had to double the recipe for a layer cake (did have some left over It turned out wonderful, although it will start to melt if handled too long. I just stuck it into the fridge for 30 min, then continued, worked out just fine. We will have to see what my guests think :

    This will be used over and over again!! I added softened milk chocolate chips and cocoa for a super chocolate flavor and everyone raved!!
