We almost skipped making this recipe because there was so much butter, but we tried it and it is AMAZING! We want to put it on everything, it made our subpar cookies out of this world. It could make cardboard tasty.

It was light and delicious! I agree with Eden to reduce the sugar by 1/2 cup. I also added a few drops of lemon juice and that really brought the flavor out!

It was good! Kind of too sweet, probably will minus a 1/2 c. of powdered sugar next time.

When it comes to decorating cupcakes this frosting is very easy to work with. You can use edible spray paint and it won’t run or melt it down. Perfect texture! I used this fabulous recipe on Red Velvet cupcakes and it was a smashing hit. Next time I’ll try adding ½ cup of high-grade cocoa for a chocolaty flavor. Yum Yum Yummy.

Very good! I changed it a bit by adding 1 more tsp. vanilla. I would also sift the powdered sugar. I frosted my Banana Nut Cookies with this frosting. Delicious!!

it was very yummy. it's nice and thick and creamy. a little more vanilla doesn't hurt. : if you reduce the sugar, it becomes sort of rubbery, so why would you want to do that? after all it IS frosting....not health food. lol added lots of fluffy taste to my butter cake cupcakes.
