This was such a simple dish and the taste is amazing! My aunt hates cauliflower and actually loved this....I used Fontina cheese instead of Gruyere yummm!

This is delicious! I added some fresh parmesan to mine and used dijon mustard instead of dry, very good this way, I also used panko bread crumbs and did as another review said and baked 20 minutes then added my cheese and bread crumbs. I will definately be making this again.

Quick and very delicious!! Even the kids who don't eat vegetables finished this dish. I have also made this with white cheddar cheese and it works well, though Gruyere (a bit expensive is my all time favorite and I use it in alot of recipes.

Yum! Yum! Yum! I used regular yellow mustard instead of dry mustard and thought that was delicious. I might try putting the cheese and the breadcrumbs on in the last 15 minutes next time.

Wow, cauliflower never tasted so good. My husband and I both agreed, this was the best tasting way ever. Though we don't typically serve cauliflower on Thanksgiving, it was so good, I took to our big family Thanksgiving dinner. It was a hit! I've made this 2 ways: 1with hvy crm (as written and it was great. 2For fewer calories/fat, I've substituted non-fat Half & Half and it was also excellent (not lacking in any way & added a 1/2 tsp crushed garlic. Since recipe directions were unclear, 1st time I cooked uncovered with breadcrumbs on from the start, and it was a bit dry, so I covered and breadcrumbs got soggy. SO The 2nd time I, reserved the breadcrumbs, Cooked 30 minutes COVERED so the cauliflower steams (stays tender and moist, then remove cover, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake remaining 15 mins. Perfect the 2nd time around. Excellent!!

Yummy! This was a great side dish for dinner tonight. I was afraid the cauliflower would drown in the cream, but it was just enough. Thanks posters! Your reviews helped out. I didn't have gruyere, so I just used a bit of parmesan, 1/2 tsp of dijon instead of ground, and I cut the bread crumbs down to 2 Tbsp. Great balance. Enjoy!

So delicious!! I followed the recipe except for the kind of cheese I used, and it wasn't the least bit watery. I don't care much for Swiss cheese so I used a Cheddar/Jack mix. My kids even loved it!! This will definitely become a traditional side item for the holidays!

In my family we make the same dish but without the cheese. My favorite on the holidays!
