I have also made corned beef & cabbage every year on St. Patrick's Day & several times a year. (We love it that much. As everyone has commented, the meat was so tender. The vegetable were tender, had a great consistancy, but not mush. I followed it to the letter. Reducing the broth turned it into a fabulous dipping sauce, yet the meat was so moist it didn't need it, but it tasted so darn good! I've done corned beef in a dutch oven, in a pressure cooker, on the stove in a pot. Hands down this was the best! I am also going to look for sales on corned beef & stock my fridge! I'd recommend people trying Raye's mustard along with the horseradish sauce.

This meal came out perfect... My family came to spend the evening with me and couldn't stop raving about how wonderful it was (even my Martha Stewart mom!!. Everything cooked evenly and it went really well with the Whole Wheat Soda Bread. Great St. Patty's Day meal all around!

The corned beef was tender and moist. Most of the vegetables were very tasty. I discovered that I am not a big fan of rutabaga. Next time I make this, I will omit that ingredient!

This recipe made the best corned beef and cabbage I ever had. And, it was the easiest to make! The creme fraiche sauce was a nice compliment and not too harsh-very nicely balanced. Served it with a vouvray wine-was an excellent choice.

Crowd pleaser! Everyone was raving over this meal! It was simple and absolutely perfect! A recipe I will definitely file away for future use! Tip: I just added the cabbage to the slow cooker during the last 40 mins or so and it came out great. No need to microwave.

First of all, I've never liked corned beef and cabbage or horseradish,so I was hesitant to make this. I only made it for my husband who loves that type of thing. Wow, was I ever surprised when I loved it so much I took "seconds"! The meat just fell apart, it was so tender. The vegetables were perfectly seasoned, and the horseradish cream was not overwhelming, but just right. I am amazed that I now love corned beef and cabbage!

Loved how moist and tender the meat came out. The sauce really made this an excellent meal. We didn't use as much reduced broth in the sauce as this recipe called for, but found the reduction was necessary for great flavor. We skipped the rutabaga and made extra cabbage. A winning crockpot recipe! On Wednesday - Reubens with the leftovers!

The Corned Beef was very tender but the vegetables were the highlight of the meal.
